2008 Induction Celebration

Whether or not you can attend, you can participate in the upcoming Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame 2008 Induction Celebration. You can order a congratulatory advertisement for the official program and in the hour-long TV show, the 2008 Showcase!
The ad will be a permanent testimonial to the high regard which you have for your favorite inductee’s accomplishments. Revenue generated by the Hall of Fame induction activities will benefit the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame Foundation, a registered 501-C3 non-profit charitable entity that uses these sales to pay for the Induction Celebration. You are welcome to request documentation of your contribution to the Foundation for tax purposes.
We can invoice you for or we can accept Visa, MasterCard or checks. Please make checks payable to: Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame Foundation.
Our 72-page program is a coffee table keepsake, and is in a full-page 8 1/2 x 11” format. Programs are distributed during our Induction Celebration and also are distributed to media, state officials and libraries in the state.
Congratulatory ad prices for the program are:
$700 for a full page color ad (3 available - back cover, inside front/back covers)
$500 for a full page ad with photos/logos
$300 for a 1/2 page ad with photos/logos
$150 for a 1/4 page ad with photos/logos
$100 for a 1/8 page ad with photos/logos
$50 for a narrative “signed message”
$25 for a one-line “signed message”
We must go to press with the bound program June 8, so congratulatory advertising orders must be made by Tuesday, June 3 to assure placement in the interior of the 72-page book.
We do publish an addendum, which includes the roster of speakers, any late congratulatory advertisements and the “signed messages.” The addendum is inserted into the program. We can accept late orders and “signed messages” through June 13th.
We can design the ad or accept camera-ready copy. We can incorporate pictures and logos, and will email or fax you a mock up of the ad for your approval upon your request. We want the ad to send a powerful message demonstrating your pride in this monumental event.
The 2007 Hall of Fame Showcase TV show will air 8-10 times statewide and beyond in July and August on Cox Sports Television, serving most major markets in our state, including Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Lafayette, Lake Charles, Alexandria, Bossier City among 1 million cable subscribers. TV ad deadline is June 30.
Ad prices for the hour-long television show on Cox Sports TV are:
$850 for a minute-long pre produced ad
$500 for a 30-second long pre-produced ad
$300 for a 15-second long pre-produced ad
$200 for a 10 second congratulatory listing on a 30-second ‘tribute” ad
*production costs ($250/30 seconds travel extra) not included in above rates
