Pam Kelly Flowers became only the fourth woman elected to the Hall. Kelly was a three-time Kodak All-America women’s basketball star at Louisiana Tech and won the Margaret Wade Trophy as the country’s top player in 1982. A Columbia native, the 6-footer helped Louisiana Tech to four “Final Four” appearances and a record 54-game winning streak along with national championships in 1981 and 1982. Her 2,979 points and 1,511 rebounds are career records at Tech. She averaged 19.5 points and 9.9 rebounds in her 153-game career while shooting 62.3 percent from the field.
